We need to restrict the total number of entrants to about 500. We will probably want a minimum of 5 entrants for each of the following events: Half Marathon Run - A1/2MR (must be 18 or older); 10k Run - A10kR (must be 15 or older and a parent / guardian must sign the entry form if younger than 17); Kids' run - AKR (three runs for age groups 4 - 7, 8 - 11, 12 - 14 and a parent / guardian must sign the entry form); Adderbury Circular Walk - ACW; Half Marathon Walk - A1/2MW.

Entry Forms

This year you will be able to enter and pay online or if you prefer download an entry form and send your cheque. In both instances please read the Participants Information Sheet - link below entry form.

Online Entry

The online entry process has three steps:

1. Complete the entry form and click the submit button.
2. On clicking the submit button for the entry form you are taken to a Payment page where you can pay online using PayPal. Follow the screen instructions and enter your card details. (If you have previously used PayPal, there may be a problem if you have already entered a card whose details are now superceded. If this happens it is best to use a different card or you will need to update your previously used card details.)
3. Check your email intray as you will automatically be sent an email with subject line Response Requested... You need to click on the link in the email to confirm your entry. This will RELEASE the ENTRY FORM to ARC and give us your permission to communicate with you by email. You need to do this within 25 days of receiving your email otherwise your details are automatically removed - we have no control here. Do check your Junk Mail folder in case it has been sent there. At the bottom of every email there is a link to "unsubscribe" but please do not do this until after 10th July if feel you must. Our only emails to you will be about the run you have entered and to invite you to our run for 2011. We do not support spam and will never give / share / sell you data to anyone.

Remember that your entry is not complete until all three steps above have been completed. Now Click on ONLINE ENTRY where you can enter you details online and make your payment online.

Offline Entry

For Offline Entry click on ENTRY FORM where you can print the entry form and send your cheque plus entry form through the mail. All details are on the entry form. Please use one entry per person. Please be sure to give us an email address on the form as this will be the main means of contact with you prior to the run.

NO REFUNDS after the end of June. Where refunds are given we will deduct 20% of entry fee to cover banking, credit card charges and other costs that we will incur in making a refund.

Click the Participants Information Sheet to download and print. This has important information.

NOTE 1: Entry Forms received after 14th June 2010, may result in entrants not receiving their T-shirts on the 10th July. (We need at least three weeks to order the specially designed T-shirts.) Entry Forms will not be accepted on the day.

NOTE 2: The Registration Desk opens at 8:00 am. All entrants will receive a Number Panel to pin on their tops through the post but need to register before the events commence. Entrants will have to write their names and contact information plus any special medical alerts on the reverse of the Number Panel. The Registration Desk closes at 9.15 am.

NOTE 3:The Half Walk will start at 8.30 am. The Kids Runs by age group will start promptly at 9.00 am. All other runs will start at 9.45 am from Lucy Placketts Playing Field, Adderbury.

NOTE 4: ARC is an Affiliated Club with England Athletics. For this reason we will be running the event in line with the "race rules" for a multi-terrain event as stipulated by England Athletics. UK Athletics Road Race / Multi Terrain Licence Number 2010-100832

What happens to the money?

Adderbury Running Club ( A R C ) aims to break even in all of its events. Occasionally, we may choose to accumulate funds to support future events and activities that promote fitness in our village and immediate local area. We will always make a significant donation (relative to our income from entrants' fees and sponsorships) to local chairties and local projects. All entrants will also receive something to celebrate the event.
